Features: 
• Straight light green which turns purple colour on exposure, cylindrical, medium to long medium thick internodes, slightly constricted root zone, small to medium round bud without bud groove, dark green leaves with erect bud tip drooping carriage, presence one dentoid and other lanceolate auricles, purple leaf sheath with cracks and deciduous spines.
• Good tillering and suitable for all types of upland soil.
• Produces an average yield of 80.0 t/ha with average sucrose in juice of 17.3%.
• Resistant to major diseases and has low to medium incidence of insect pests.
• Ready for harvest from middle of November.
