Features :
• Slightly zig-zag to straight alignment with cylindrical green colour internodes which turns purple on exposure, bold roundish bud, deep green medium width leaves, auricles absent, deltoid light purple transverse mark, deep green leaf sheath with deciduous spines, loose clasping of leaf sheath with drooping carriage.
• Good tillering and suitable for all type of soils.
• Average yield 78.0 t/ha with average sucrose recovery of 17. 10 %.
• Ready for harvest from second week of November,
• Resistant to major diseases and has low incidence of insect-pests.
