• The variety is characterized by straight medium thick to thick whitish green (exposed) to light green (unexposed) medium long to long cylindrical internode, slightly swollen nodes, medium sized ovate bud with indicated bud greave, medium with green leaves green leaf sheath with purple blotches, two small dentoid auricles, semi-drooping carriage.
• It gives an average yield of 96. t/ha in Bihar and 79.15 t/ha in the north central and North Eastern zone of India with an average sucrose in juice of 17.90%
