Features:
• Slightly zig-zag pale green stalk, cylindrical internodes with swollen wax band, slight swollen node, small round bud with very shallow bud groove, green with brick tinge leaf sheath having no spines, loose leaf sheath clasping, dirty green triangular dentoid transverse mark, light green medium to broad leaf with transitional auricles, semi drooping carriage.
• Suitable for all types of soils in Bihar.
• Resistant to moderately resistant to major diseases and has low incidence of insect-pests.
• Produces an average yield of 88.0 t/ha with average sucrose percentage in juice of 16.50%.
• Ready for harvest in the second fortnight of January.
